Calling all Minecraft enthusiasts! Code Ninjas and bsp are partnering up for a camp that combines creativity and engineering to take your gameplay to the next level. Campers will elevate their gameplay by discovering the art of customization—designing and modifying tools and spaces to transform the Minecraft universe into their personal playground. They'll also explore the fascinating world of Redstone, learning to automate farming, mining, and even flight simulations while creating self-operating systems that push the boundaries of game design. This blend of creativity and technical skill makes for an unforgettable journey, inspiring campers to become true Minecraft masterminds!

Designed for those with a curiosity for theater, this course is thoughtfully tailored to engage and inspire an older audience. Campers will dive into their favorite stories—whether from books, movies, or TV shows—and explore what makes them so captivating. Campers will analyze the essential elements of storytelling, such as compelling characters, dynamic settings, and thrilling action, while bringing selected scenes to life. Although music and movement may play a role in this course, the focus will not be on singing or dancing. Instead, students will engage in small group activities, discussions, and collaborative presentations, fostering a comfortable and supportive environment for exploration and creativity. This course is perfect for aspiring writers, playwrights, and directors eager to uncover what makes characters engaging and plotlines resonate with an audience!

Wishing you could spend your summer outside by the water? Well, consider your wish granted—or should we say your fish? Join Mr. Liam for afternoons on the pond as we explore the shores of Breck’s 52-acre campus, and beyond! If you’ve never so much as seen a fishing rod, or you’re an avid angler, there’s room for all to practice important fishing skills! Campers will learn casting, reeling, tying knots, landing a fish, and, of course, the fine art of spinning a fish tale. With all gear included, and multiple trips to local hotspots, it won’t matter whether we catch sunfish or just sun rays, this class is sure to be a keeper!

Step into the world of design and discovery with bsp and The Works as you create and test amazing structures! Build and wire a custom wood-frame model house complete with working lights, switches, and optional features like a doorbell or ceiling fan. Then, explore the science behind engineering failures as you design and test boats, bridges, and buildings to see how they hold up against real-world challenges. Discover why structures collapse and learn how to make them stronger. This camp combines hands-on building with problem-solving for an unforgettable adventure in architecture and engineering!

Join us for an exhilarating and thrilling Adventure Mountain Biking course! This program is specially crafted for campers with some mountain biking experience on single track trails. For those who haven't ventured onto the trails yet, fret not–we welcome riders who are confident in their general biking skills, as our expert instructors will support, encourage, and guide you through the key fundamentals of bike handling. Throughout this two week session, riders will have the unique opportunity to not only learn these essential skills, but also to refine and master them on various single track trails in and around the Twin Cities–many of which we hope to visit!. Trails explored may be Theodore Wirth Trail, Lebanon Hills, Battle Creek, Elm Creek and Monarch. Join us for this unforgettable Adventure Mountain Biking course, where the thrill of mountain biking meets the beauty of nature, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Love working with clay and unleashing your creativity? In this course, campers will dive into all the wonderfully tactile, messy, and magical aspects of clay. Campers craft projects that are whimsical, clever, functional, and delightfully quirky. Along the way, campers will discover that the process of working with clay is just as fun as the outcome! Guided by Breck's beloved "Mayor of Artville," Carol Grams, this fun (and delightfully messy) session promises plenty of laughs, learning, and hands-on exploration.

Join us as bsp and Snapology partner as campers explore the exciting process inventors use to tackle real-world problems. Campers will learn about real inventors while they design, build, and program robotic machines using LEGO® Spike Prime kits and Scratch coding. Along the way, they’ll also dive into the fundamentals of mechanical movement, simple machines, physics, and engineering design. From constructing motorized spirographs and spinning battle tops to creating remote-control claw grabbers and their own unique inventions, campers will expand their creativity, test new ideas, and collaborate with peers. Perfect for budding engineers and problem solvers who love to tinker and innovate!

bsp and Snaplogy join forces on a journey through time as we learn from the past and look to a bright future! Campers will combine robotics and storytelling to explore prehistoric creatures and ways to make the world a better place! In this course, campers will build and code robotic models of fascinating prehistoric animals using LEGO® Spike Robotics kits while mastering sensors, testing different mechanical components, and developing their programming skills. Using the information they learn from the past, campers will make the world a better place using stop motion animation, creating nature-inspired movies complete with dialogue, sound effects, and vibrant sets. From storyboarding and plot development to hands-on building and coding, campers will collaborate in teams to bring their creations to life. Finished films will be sent home on USBs to share with family and friends!
