If your plans change and you need to cancel your registration prior to March 14, 2020, the deposit less a $50 processing fee per course is refundable. If cancellation occurs between March 15, 2020-April 15, 2020, 50% of tuition is non-refundable. If cancellation occurs between April 16, 2020-April 30, 2020, 35% of tuition is non-refundable. Payment is due in full on May 1, 2020. No refunds will be issued in the event of withdrawal from any summer program after May 1, 2020, to ensure staffing and programmatic commitments to all families. Cancellations must be given in writing to the Summer Programs Director.
No refunds will be given due to student absences. No refunds will be given for lost days due to unforeseen acts of nature or environment. In the event that Breck School is unable to to operate (e.g., loss of electricity, fire or other disaster), Breck Summer Programs participants will be notified via email.
Yes! We welcome children with all swimming abilities. Our Red Cross Certified Aquatic staff will assess each camper’s swimming ability and place them in an appropriate swimming group. Learn more about our swimming program here
On the last Friday of each session, we welcome families to join us on campus to see what your camper has been up to the last couple weeks! There are many ‘student showcases’ happening during a Family Celebration. Friday Family Celebrations are from 2:30-3:30 and BSP director will communicate the showcase schedule prior to the beginning of the event.
If you are unable to attend, don’t worry! Your camper will be able to participate along with their counselor for the afternoon!
The first Friday of each session, all full day and afternoon campers will participate in a camp-wide celebration. A “camper-favorite” is our camp-wide Water Day celebration! On this day, we gather outside on our athletic fields for an afternoon of backyard, water fun! Slip n’slides, giant bubbles, running through the sprinklers, special snacks and more! Its guaranteed to be a great time for all ages.
All Camp Breck Day Camp campers Grades 3 and older will participate in weekly field trips. A field trip schedule will be sent home prior to the beginning of camp. If your child is enrolled in a Specialty Camp, they may take a field trip. Complete course information and field trip schedules will be sent home prior to the first day of the course.
Drop off is between 8:30-8:40 each day camp is in session.
To ensure camper safety, BSP has a strict carline procedure. If you choose to drop your camper off in carline, please remain in your vehicle and have your camper exit on the SIDEWALK side of the car. Counselors and staff will greet them and help them get with their group.
If you prefer to escort your camper, continue through the carline and park in a parking space near the Upper School Entrance (Door A) and use the painted crosswalk.
Pick up is between 3:15-3:30 daily. All campers are expected to be picked up by 3:30 PM daily, unless enrolled in Extended Care.
If you choose to pick up our camper off in carline, please remain in your vehicle and a staff member will help them walk to your car on the SIDEWALK side of the car for a safe entrance.
If you prefer to park your car and pick up your camper on the BSP front lawn, continue through the carline and park in a parking space near the Upper School Entrance (Door A) and use the painted crosswalk.
If there is a change in your family’s pick up routine, you must send an email to the camp director (firstname.lastname@example.org) or call the BSP office. Campers without a note or phone call will not be allowed to leave until parents have been reached. (BSP OFFICE LINE: 763.381.8234)
During the registration process, you can designate additional individuals authorized to pick up your camper.
