• Actively participate in activities with campers and assist specialists as needed. Activities may include, but not limited to:
  • Swimming Lessons
  • Art
  • Gym Games
  • Outdoor Sports
  • Recess
  • Music/Songs
• Maintain a constant and effective degree of supervision to ensure camper safety
• Develop effective and caring relationships with all campers  
• Provide a positive role model and examples to campers 

Signature Camp Activity Leader

• Plan a variety of developmentally appropriate, recreational and educational activities and projects based on camper interest and course theme.
• Maintain a constant and effective degree of supervision to ensure camper safety
• Develop effective and caring relationships with all campers  
• Provide a positive role model and examples to campers 

Sports Camp Counselor: 

• Plan drills, scrimmages and sports related games
• Create a positive environment on the field and in the classroom promoting teamwork, sportsmanship & respect for players or varying abilities
• Maintain a constant and effective degree of supervision to ensure camper safety
• Provide a positive role model and examples to campers 

Aquatic Staff: 

Water Safety Instructor: *Certification Required*

• Follow Red Cross Learn-to-Swim Curriculum
• Assess swimmers according to the Red Cross Guidelines
• Supervise Pool Locker Rooms
• Document camper learning and proficiency by completing Learn-to-Swim assessment cards
• Maintain a constant and effective degree of supervision to ensure camper safety
• Provide a positive role model and examples to campers 

Lifeguard: *Certification Required*

• Explaining & enforcing pool rules, regulations and policies to ensure camper safety
• Responding to emergencies and rescuing swimmer, if needed
• Perform First Aid procedures
• Maintain a constant and effective degree of supervision to ensure camper safety
• Provide a positive role model and examples to campers
